Jeremy Burmeister

I’ve always had an innate desire to build and create things.  Whether scrapping together my first tree house as a kid to building a simple pine bench to creating a huge art installation made from plumbing materials; I have always enjoyed these adventures.  Fortunate to grow up with virtually unlimited access to tools and supplies I was enabled to pursue creative work.   From there I have learned valuable lessons in how to start with small ideas, build them into complicated plans, and execute within whatever parameters exist.   I have also been fortunate to work with great minds and hard workers from whom I have learned invaluable lessons.  These are my mentors.  They have helped me identify who I am as an artist, designer, and thinker.

I am a minimalist at heart. I'm not drawn to embellishments but I love details. I like clean lines, practicality, and purpose in design and appreciate well-crafted things.  I like being awed by big inspiring statements and find intrigue in small sometimes hidden ones.

My objective is to use everything I have learned toward my approach and expectations for a project.  I want to make things well and inspire others with my creations.  To me, that is the greatest reward.
